BENEFACTORS WE THANK FOR HOSTING SPECIAL EVENTS IN THE PAST

Lake Norman Tennis Association's Charity "Southern Cities Women's Doubles Tennis Tournament" raised $2,000 for its charity partner, Hope House Foundation. The annual tournament was held at Hornet's Nest Park in Charlotte on June 3 - 5. Lake Norman Tennis Association then sent two qualifying teams to the Southern Cities Championship in Atlanta, Ga. on August 25-28. According to Tom Polk, president of the Lake Norman Tennis Association, one of these teams won the tournament and presented an additional $500 to benefit Hope House.

Second Annual Hearts for Missions 5K! Hearts for Missions was held on May 21, at 8 am. This event is a ministry of Independence Hill Baptist Church that benefits local and international agencies and non-profit organizations. Hope House Foundation was one of the beneficiaries for this event. For information, click here to visit the event website.

Third Annual Jetton Park Triathlon on May 7, 2011, raised $14,000 to benefit Hope House Foundation. We would like to thank Jeff and Sheila Wakeman the founders of Wakeman Charities for naming us one of the beneficiaries for this event in 2009 and 2011. We also thank the many volunteers who donated their time on behalf of Hope House to help make this event in 2009 and 2011 a success that raised a total of $27,500 for Hope House.
