FUNDRAISING AND DONATIONS
Because of the generosity from individuals, grantors and organizations, Hope House serves homeless women and women with children in the Lake Norman area. We have undergone major renovations since the Katrina family we served in 2005-2006 left our premises. Today Hope House is totally renovated, furnished and operating through the generous support of volunteers, donors and grantors. With homeless services increasing in Mecklenburg County in the past year by 85%, Hope House has ongoing collaborative relationships in the north with The Ada Jenkins Center and Davidson Housing Coalition. Hope House has also benefitted from The Salvation Army’s generosity in helping fill the house to capacity for six months from December 2009 through May 2010.
Other organizations from the YWCA, Family Promise, Charlotte Family Housing, Community Link and a host of many others have shared their resources and information contributing in different ways to help us serve the Lake Norman area’s homeless women and children during this time of dire economic hardship. The community’s financial aid is needed now more than ever to fulfill the Hope House mission.
Anyone who wishes to host a special non-profit event fundraiser that benefits the Hope House would be welcome.
All financial donations to Hope House are 100% tax deductible as permitted by the law. To make a financial donation by mail, please send a check to:

HOUSEHOLD AND PERSONAL DONATIONS
Call the Hope House with your recommended household and personal donations that you wish to donate. We will be back in touch with you to let you know if we can use items at this time. If we can’t use your donations, we will attempt to recommend another non-profit in the Lake Norman area that might use these household contributions immediately. We have many partnering non-profits, and we are committed to working together toward helping our community.
